Bungie unveils Destiny’s massive NERF Gjallarhorn launcher

Bungie has revealed a massive NERF version of the popular Destiny series Gjallarhorn launcher. The Gjallarhorn is one of the most popular weapons of Destiny thanks to its incredibly unique design and the fact that it has tracking missiles and other functions that make it incredibly powerful. It’s also absurdly large, which makes it a somewhat cumbersome weapon for Guardians, but its strength helps justify its use. With all that said, Destiny fans could get a real copy of the Rocket Launcher pretty soon and wreak havoc among their friends and family via NERF’s big darts.

Bungie announced the NERF version of the Gjallarhorn and it’s huge, measuring about 4 feet tall. It’s pretty accurate for the in-game version with a great reloading system, although some liberties have been taken in its design. The launcher will launch NERF Mega Darts, but of course it is not explosive and does not track its target. The NERF Gjallarhorn will cost $185 and pre-orders will start July 7 at 10AM PT/1PM ET for Bungie Rewards members who earned the Gjallarhorn Rocket Launcher by completing the mission in Destiny 2: Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack before July 7, 2022 if there is Anything left, Bungie will go on sale to everyone on July 21. in Lengthy blog postBungie has broken down the process step-by-step to bring the launcher to life and engineered it in a way that preserves the look and feel of the weapon from the game.

“We needed to make sure what we were working on was also related to the game, which led us to the Wolfpack tours,” said Justin Sakon, chief engineer for the project. clearly It is the main attraction of Gjallarhorn. We chose a shell for the NERF MEGA darts, which, if you’re not familiar, are slightly larger than a typical NERF arrow. With this projectile we fire three MEGA darts simultaneously, giving that visual sensation of the Wolfpack rotors spinning and flying through the air towards your target. We felt it was the perfect marriage to use Gjallarhorn in Destiny and bring him to life with a really cool and fun gameplay.”

Although it might be a bit extreme, it feels like a collector’s item for Destiny fans. Of course, those who want to take advantage of it will likely need quite a bit of storage space for their 4-foot pistol. Either way, it’s exciting to see Bungie do something special for her fans.
